From a design perspective, 100 years of history means 19’ ceilings, beautifully exposed concrete columns, former rail line loading docks for patios, and a sense of place that is both rich and unique.
Behind those details lay the story and history of one of the most accomplished and impressive entrepreneurs of his time. Always focused on the pursuit of the American Dream, Pacific Coast Canning Co. founder Lew Hing broke boundaries and created opportunities that are celebrated to this day in museums, books, articles, & at the Pacific Cannery Lofts. Today, his building is once again providing new opportunities to a diverse group of residents & entrepreneurs.
